Promoting the refrigeration, air-conditioning and heating industry
Supporting a specialized trade comprised of highly skilled professionals
Increasing awareness and understanding of the HVAC&R industry and trade

Every commercial building you walk into – a grocery store, a shopping center, an office building or a recreation center – has a highly manipulated environment that poses safety threats to the public if not correctly installed and cared for by highly trained specialists.

The Refrigeration, Air Conditioning and Heating Association of Alberta (RAHA) is emerging to highlight the specialized skills that Refrigeration and Air Conditioning Mechanics (RACM’s) bring to Alberta’s Heating, Ventilation, Air Conditioning and Refrigeration industry and to ensure these services are undertaken by specialized tradespeople such as Refrigeration and Air Conditioning Mechanics which is a compulsory trade in Alberta.

RAHA is working to ensure provincial safety regulations for refrigeration and air conditioning systems are firmly in place, thus ensuring Albertans are protected whenever they head to work, run out to the local supermarket or lace up their skates.
