Join RAHA, be part of the discussions to improve our industry and advocate on behalf of its members.

RAHA is the united voice of the Alberta Refrigeration Industry and Contractors at all levels of Government. Join so you can use your voice to help influence government on the proper legislation and rules that should be in place for our trade.

Important Background

Since RACCA dissolved, organization’s like SMCAA have evolved and flourished. This is evident with HVAC Permitting, and not until RAHA was created, was there a STANDATA (19-BCB-007) Building Bulletin allowing Refrigeration contractors to pull HVAC Permits.

RAHA has written the Minister of Education with respect to Bill 67 and expressed interest in working with the Alberta Board of Skilled Trades in helping to improve and shape the future of the Apprenticeship Program in our Alberta.

Awareness

Be part of the discussions to help our industry bring awareness of the value we provide to our clients.

RAHA will:

  • Influence manufacturers of necessary product needs and changes.
  • Raise the bar for performance and safety so that members of our organization are recognized and valued in our industry sector in Alberta.

Safety

Help influence improvements to public safety and workplace requirements to improve our industry.

A refrigeration system is a pressurized system, and it must be installed in compliance with the B-52 Codes and may need to be inspected and verified by the Authorities Having Jurisdiction (AHJ’s) such as ABSA.

The RAHA logo will be synonymous with the high standards of our members for safety and environmental practices.

Networking

Improve your business by increasing your networking opportunities.

Joining will give you the opportunity to learn what other companies have experienced and to find solutions to mutual problems. Joining RAHA, you will be able to network with contractors, suppliers and manufacturers to learn new technologies.
